I love to do the research and put together my travel plans almost as much as I like the traveling itself! And sometimes you just want to let someone else do the planning and preparation, especially in marginally sketchy places, and then it’s best to find a small group adventure company and maybe even make some new lifetime friends along the way. This blog reflects that kind of approach - what is the best way (fun-est and safest) to get to the places you’ve always wanted to go.
I am a lass who likes to travel more than anything else and has had the benefit of paid vacation time. As a kid I was always curious about people’s homes and I would inspect how the rooms were laid out and what furnishings filled the spaces and which cherished possessions took pride-of-place. It is the same curiosity that leads me to travel to foreign places. Understanding how other people live helps me to understand myself, and to acknowledge that there are so many different ways to be. Also, I like to eat - trying other cultures’ cuisines is a foodie’s dream!
